How To Make Direct Download Links

Hi all I know this isn't Minecraft or MLP related, but I thought I'd share it with you since Bfong is going to be having downloadable content uploaded now. This is just a quick write-up I'm doing so bear with me if it isn't clear. Comment if you have questions! Guide is after the break.


1) Get a way to upload the files to download. Common ways are MediaFire, MegaUpload, or Dropbox. In Bfong's post "Test," he used Dropbox. I'm using his file as an example.
2) Find the "Download" button on whatever File Sharing website you are using. RIGHT click on it and open it in a new tab.


3) Exit out of the Download box that shows up, and copy the link on the opened tab. This is the direct download link sent to the File Sharing website's server to give you the file.

4) Paste the link to where ever you want: Clapping Octavia (Direct Download)
5) ???
6) Profit
