The first
night of Tekkit went surprisingly well today.
Pain was in our hearts at the start, for we had an inkling feeling that
Tekkit will overshadow Spout. This in
turn will leave our beloved Equestria in the darkness of forgotten
memories. However, with heavy hearts
bathed in ardor and melancholy, we packed our belongings and began the journey. After saying our parting thoughts to
Spoutcraft and Bukkit, we proceeded to start our new adventure.
As the
Administrator of the server, Nam had to create a backstory for the
adventure: “Warning: we have detected a
level three ICBM headed for [insert town name here]. This is not a drill, report to the nearest
bomb shelter. I repeat, this is not a
drill report to th-.” Whiteness. The kind of whiteness that you only see in
the sun. That all-consuming blinding light that burns
everything. Structures turned into ash,
dirt turned into sand. Humans and
animals were wiped off like a stray marker streak on a whiteboard.
How’s my
creative writing doing? Anyways… when we
got to the new server, we realized that our crap didn’t carry over. Also, everything turned into a giant desert
with vegetation so sparse that you could count them all with one hand. Everyone (Nam, Me, Jeremy, Patrick and later Matt) ran from
the sand like a pack of retarded puppies.
Eventually we found resources.
Nam declared secession and walked into the sunset like some badass
cowboy. Spring turns to winter and crap
stops growing. Nam begins to manufacture
a butt-load of weapons for no apparent reason.
The gaming session ends when Nam announces his repose. Everyone gets off and proceeds to go to sleep
while I realize that I have only taken 3 or 4 pictures to document. Below are the pictures.
I volunteer for the screenshotsStabbing non-player-characters to death with a chunk of stone on a stick for food? Average day.
Not sure how.. or why.
Diamonds!
